This Privacy Policy describes how UK Shearling Company Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Cleany Max mobile application (the "App") and any related web pages located at https://cleanymax.com (the "Site").

By downloading and using the App or visiting the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App or Site.

This policy complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Apple's App Store privacy guidelines.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Email address — only if you contact our support team or subscribe to updates.
  • Messages — content of emails or support requests you send us.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically (App)

  • Device model, operating system version, and iOS version.
  • App version and language settings.
  • Anonymized usage events (e.g., which features you open) — no personal identifiers.
  • Crash reports and error logs — to fix bugs and improve stability.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically (Website)

  • IP address (anonymized after 24 hours).
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system.
  • Pages visited, time spent, and navigation path on our Site.
  • Referral source (e.g., which search engine or ad sent you to us).
  • Cookie identifiers — see Section 8 for details.

2.4 Data We Do NOT Collect

We never access, read, or store the actual content of your photos, videos, documents, or any files processed by the App. All file scanning happens entirely on your device.

  • Contents of your photos, videos, or documents.
  • Files stored in your Private / Secret Folder.
  • Your contacts, messages, or call history.
  • Your location or GPS data.
  • Your Apple ID, password, or payment information.

How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:

  • To measure website performance — understand how visitors find and use our Site so we can improve it.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating and improving the App and Site.

  • Google Analytics / Firebase — anonymized website and app analytics.
  • Google Ads — measuring the performance of our advertising campaigns (click and install attribution, no personal profiles).
  • Cloud hosting provider — secure server infrastructure for the Site.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

4.3 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via a prominent notice on our Site before any such transfer occurs.

Data Storage & Security

All data transmitted between the App, Site, and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security).

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law:

  • Anonymized analytics data: up to 26 months.
  • Support request records: up to 2 years after the last interaction.
  • Crash logs: automatically deleted after 90 days.
  • Website IP addresses: anonymized after 24 hours.

While we implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Under GDPR (European Users)

  • Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

The App and Site are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at the address in Section 11. We will promptly delete such information from our records.
